I remember that there were a lot of bombs, ususlly just blowing up mail
boxes, but then there was a sudden increase in the level of violence and
the kidnapping and murder.

We didn't have many problems with the FLQ terrorists after that. Some of
the took off to Cuba but I guess it wasn't the socialist Utopia the
expected it to be and they slunk pack to Canada.

A lot of Quebecers were pissed off at Trudeau for imposing the War
Measures Act. It was their own premier who pushed Trudeau to do it.
